Rev. Parker Tenent
I grew up in Memphis and love our city! I graduated from Briarcrest Christian School in 1996 and went on to attend Christian Brothers University, where I graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in 2000. Feeling the Lord calling me into ministry, I explored that calling through an RUF internship at the University of Mississippi for two years. Loving that ministry and seeing the Lord use me in a pastoral context just confirmed that calling on my life and encouraged me to attend seminary. So, in 2003 I attended Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis and later graduated in 2006 with a Master of Divinity. Being eager to serve RUF, I accepted my first call as a pastor to be the RUF campus minister at the University of Arizona. Having served there four years, I received a call in 2010 from IPC to return to Memphis and pastor the 30s. I love IPC and am so thankful to be serving Christ's Church in the compacity that I do.
My wife, Ashley, and I have been married for over 10 years and have three beautiful children, Parker, Elizabeth, and Abe.
