The 40s Community at IPC is made up of those who are 40-ish in age and/or stage of life. That means many of us are in our late 30s to late 40s, are married, and have children from elementary to high school age. We have long-term Memphians, as well as new arrivals, working and stay-at-home moms, single, divorced folks, etc. But the common bond we share is Christ and a desire to reflect him in our community together at IPC. Our 40s Sunday School Class meets each Sunday, 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall North, for fellowship and biblical teaching (usually by Jeremy). This weekly class is a great way to connect with others and with what’s going on in the 40s Community.
We also offer Small Groups for our 40s Community as part of the regular Wednesday Evenings@IPC. Men’s and women’s groups meet from 6:30–7:30 p.m. throughout the fall and spring, with additional groups meeting at other times during the week. Please contact Jeremy at 901.289.9807 or jjones [at] ipcmemphis [dot] org if you are interested in being a part of a Small Group or Grace Group.
Also, the 40s Community has occasional social gatherings and men’s discussion groups, and we participate in a variety of service opportunities at IPC.
