Christmas Food Basket Setup & Delivery
Giving food baskets to families in need at Christmas has been an IPC tradition for over 30 years. Our goal this year is to deliver 1,200 baskets to families involved with Neighborhood Christian Center, Streets Ministries, and Palmer Home. Each basket feeds 4 people for one week.
Volunteers are needed to help with setup on Friday, Dec. 13, starting at 2:00 p.m., then assembly & delivery on Saturday morning, Dec. 14, starting at 9:00 a.m. This family event is a great opportunity for children ages 4 and up to experience giving at Christmas instead of only receiving. On Saturday, the nursery will be open from 9:00-noon for children ages 0-3.
We are accepting donations for baskets now. Baskets are $50 (credit cards, checks, and cash accepted), and can be purchased in memory or honor of someone. Baskets can be in the lobby at church beginning November 24, or you can purchase them online through the MY IPC Online Giving link. Select “Friends & Internet Campus,” then select the “Food Baskets” designation. Enter the amount, then complete your donation. You may pick up your gift cards at the reception desk in the lobby.
