Pack 81

As you may be aware, IPC sponsors Pack 81, Chickasaw Council, of the Boy Scouts of America.  We’ll soon be kicking off a new year of Scouting, and we couldn’t be more excited!

The Boy Scouts provides a unique environment for boys to develop character and leadership skills to prepare them for life.  There are many great benefits to be obtained from Scouting, but the most important is that it’s FUN!

As we enter a new season of Scouting, I would ask that you prayerfully consider your son’s participation in IPC Pack 81 Cub Scouts.  Most of our Scouts live in our community, but do not attend IPC.  IPC’s sponsorship of Pack 81 represents a unique ministry opportunity to be involved in the life of our community.

Here’s a few quick facts about our program:

  • We follow the school year, August to May
  • We meet Wed. evenings from 4:30-5:30, at IPC
  • We have monthly Pack meetings where Scouts are recognized for accomplishments
  • Our Pack is run by parents (most of our den leaders also attend IPC)
  • Cub scout dens are available for boys aged 1st grade to 5th grade
  • Boys in 2nd grade or older do not need to have a parent present at weekly den meetings

If you are interested in getting involved in Scouts, please contact me for more information.

 Yours in service,
