Senior High Ministry
The Senior High ministry of IPC exists to be the place where “growing in community” takes place for our 9th-12th grade students. We long for our students to “grow” not to simply through acquiring more information about Jesus (as important as this is), but by coming to know Jesus personally, and developing a heart-felt affection for him. The way we believe that God set things up for growth to take place through relationships with other people that are grounded in the gospel, thus the “in community” aspect of our mission. Real, lasting, transforming growth does not take place in isolation, or even participating in programs around other people, but through knowing others and being known … by both peers and mentors. Through meaningful relationships grounded in the gospel, our hope is for imperfect but steady growth in our student’s relationship with Christ that will result in love for and obedience to God’s Word, and a desire to use their gifts here at IPC and as they “go out in love” as salt and light in a broken world.
