Wednesday night is a vital time of creating and maintaining intergenerational ties that bind our hearts together as a congregation.
On September 6, Dr. Sean Lucas will begin a new Wednesday night teaching series based on his widely-used book, On Being Presbyterian: Our Beliefs, Practices, and Stories. You can join the larger group at 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall where Sean will be speaking, or follow the study via podcast with your small group. Wednesday night activities for children will also begin on the 6th, including Children’s Choir practice and C.I.A (Christ in Action). IPC's DivorceCare ministry will begin on September 13.
Many of our Small Groups take place on Wednesday evenings during the school year to give parents of preschool and elementary school children access to child care.
Most of our small groups that meet on Wednesday are driven by communities and this fall will be discussing Dr. Sean Lucas's teaching On Being Presbyterian. We also offer DivorceCare on Wednesdays.
Several other small groups meet throughout the week at different times and locations, including prayer groups and more traditional Bible studies. Each group is facilitated by a trained discussion leader. This is a great time to explore the Word of God, build relationships, and learn to apply the knowledge you have gathered to transform your life.
