The mission of the Independent Presbyterian Church Foundation is to advance Christ’s kingdom through church planting, theological education, and leadership development.
The Independent Presbyterian Church Foundation funds three specific purposes: church planting, leadership development, and theological education. Individually, they’re important; together, they interlock. Foundation donations are distinct in purpose; they are invested exclusively in ministries that are committed to the inerrancy of the Bible and the Westminster Standards, and that align with the Foundation’s three purposes.
Every angle of the Foundation’s design, from by-laws and investment strategy to grant distribution, ensures that gifts are used wisely. The Foundation lends structure to the lifecycle of a bequest or donation. When a large gift is made, it joins the pool of Foundation funds. From that core amount, a percentage is invested via a diversified moderate growth portfolio. As investments grow, grants do too – creating an ever-expanding cycle of progress. One gift can effectively stretch into perpetuity, raising up church plants and future leaders for years to come. Altogether, it’s a snapshot of the Foundation’s overarching vision: one gift turned into perpetual kingdom growth.
Undesignated Fund
When the Foundation receives a gift from a donor who does not specify how it may be used, it is added to the undesignated General Fund. This is the depository for any bequests or gifts that do not have specific designations.
