Our Mission

The mission of the Independent Presbyterian Church Foundation is to advance Christ’s kingdom through church planting, theological education, and leadership development.

Our Purpose

The Independent Presbyterian Church Foundation funds three specific purposes: church planting, leadership development, and theological education.  Individually, they’re important; together, they interlock. Foundation donations are distinct in purpose; they are invested exclusively in ministries that are committed to the inerrancy of the Bible and the Westminster Standards, and that align with the Foundation’s three purposes.

Donate to The Foundation

How Your Gift Grows

Every angle of the Foundation’s design, from by-laws and investment strategy to grant distribution, ensures that gifts are used wisely. The Foundation lends structure to the lifecycle of a bequest or donation. When a large gift is made, it joins the pool of Foundation funds. From that core amount, a percentage is invested via a diversified moderate growth portfolio. As investments grow, grants do too – creating an ever-expanding cycle of progress. One gift can effectively stretch into perpetuity, raising up church plants and future leaders for years to come. Altogether, it’s a snapshot of the Foundation’s overarching vision: one gift turned into perpetual kingdom growth.

Funds

Undesignated Fund

When the Foundation receives a gift from a donor who does not specify how it may be used, it is added to the undesignated General Fund. This is the depository for any bequests or gifts that do not have specific designations.

Designated Funds

  • Church Planting Fund – Church planting grants provide a catalyst for local church growth. IPC is seeking to plant six more PCA churches in the next ten years in the Memphis metro area, creating more of an impact of the reformed faith in our own backyard.
  • Theological Education Fund – Theological education grants seek to lighten the burden of seminary tuition and day-to-day expenses of students. With generosity and forward-thinking, the burden of student loan debt is removed from future ministers and ministry staff.
  • Leadership Development Fund – Targeting elders, deacons, interns, or general men and women of the church, leadership development seeks to train up both ordained and non-ordained church leaders.
  • Kitula/Malone Pastors' Conference Fund - This legacy fund was established through the IPC Foundation to honor Bishop Peter Kitula of the Africa-Inland Church, Tanzania and IPC’s Rev. Mike Malone, their partnership in the gospel, and their ongoing commitment to the pastors in the Diocese of Mara-Ukerewe.  Grants awarded from the fund will be used to support the existing pastors’ conference; to allow for expanded leadership development conferences throughout the Diocese of Mara-Ukerewe; and to replicate this effort in other dioceses of the AIC-T, if the Lord allows and the AIC-T so desires.
